The watch is judged to be original and period-correct in its main configuration. Case and caseback, dial, movement, hands, and bezel are considered original, and the period consistency is good. The strap is aftermarket and not original Rolex.

This is a classic Oysterdate with an honest unpolished case and an original silver sunburst dial. It was fully serviced and is now running very well. Its main appeal is the original dial condition and excellent practical accuracy.

It appears to remain in original condition.
No clear signs of redial, repainting, or relume. Light aging and small marks are present.

[Hands] : Good
They appear to remain original, with no clear signs of replacement or relume. Surface aging is visible.

[Crystal] : Very Good
Plexiglass.

[Case, crown and back of the case] : Good
The case shows visible scratches and signs of use, but appears unpolished. Crown screw-in is good (approx. 1.3 turns to unlock). The serial number engraving is clear.

[Band] : New leather strap (not genuine Rolex).

[Action] : Very Good
Hand-winding and time-setting work properly. Date changes properly around midnight. Please note the date sits slightly off-center in the window.
