The dial, movement, hands, bezel, and crown appear original and period-correct. The case and caseback are believed to be genuine Rolex service replacements fitted by RSC. The service case is numbered 447xxxx, while the original serial 215xxxx is recorded inside the caseback. The non-hacking cal. 1570 is consistent with 1969.

The RSC case and caseback make this a practical vintage 1501, while the original silver dial and non-hacking movement retain its 1969 character.
