The watch is judged to be original and period-correct in its main configuration. Case and caseback, dial, movement, hands, and bezel are considered original, and the period consistency is good. The strap is aftermarket and not original Rolex.

This is a very attractive Turn-O-Graph, also known as the Thunderbird, with a silver dial, warm tritium lume, and white gold bezel. One of its charms is the balance between classic Datejust elegance and the slightly sportier feel created by the rotating bezel. The white gold bezel turns very smoothly, which adds real pleasure in daily use.

No clear signs of redial, repainting, or relume.
